Paragon Union Software

About Paragon Corporation

Paragon has been developing union software since 1998 and database and web applications for over 15 years. We take a service-oriented approach to developing applications. We do not believe in a one-size fits all mentality, but instead strive to build applications that fit into your business model and provide tips on how to make your business model more technologically efficient.
We do not try to reinvent how you do business or your business vocabulary to fit our structure.

We appreciate that each Union shop tracks information differently and has varying needs for information tracking.

Below is a list of services we have provided for other unions

  • Membership Tracking - track members, employers, buildings, member affiliations
  • Arbitration and Grievance Tracking
  • Dues, Health and Welfare Tracking - automated dues/pension/health and wealthfare imports, dues and check entry, per capita reports, monthly reports
  • Campaign Organizing - organizing of new employers and work locations
  • Member Voter Legislative district matching - we use industry standard geocoding techniques, fuzzy logic and spatial database technology to map each member to city, state, county, country and custom defined districts for purposes such as targeted outreach.
  • Data conversion from legacy flat-file systems into relational systems
  • Enhancements of existing systems - both enhancing functionality and fixing issues of both Paragon as well as Non-Paragon developed custom applications
  • Mentoring - We train our customers to be as self-reliant as possible because it allows us to focus on more advanced functions and to grow intellectually as well. We feel this approach makes for a happier customer too. We can teach you the basics of querying your system and for advanced customers, how to build applications that will integrate with your existing ones.

Other companies may fear losing customer-base if their customers become too smart and can do more on their own. We do not share this fear because we believe the more educated our customers become the more foresight they have on how technology can be extended further in their business.
